In an interview in today's San Francisco Chronicle, Leslie Feist told of a trip she will soon take to the Arctic alongside the BBC, scientists, artists, filmmakers, and other musicians to learn about the work being done to understand global climate change. The goal of partnering musicians, artists, and scientists is to expose the artists to the climate crisis first-hand and inspire them to create art based on their experiences. The voyage will set sail soon (and Brian Eno and Laurie Anderson will apparently be along for the ride, too)!
