Treehugger.com posted a fantastic interview with
Allen Schaeffer, the Executive Director of Diesel Technology Forum. Mr. Scaheffer describes clean diesel as "as cleaner engines and the pieces of engines that make it clean, like turbochargers and other things within the engine. We also think about cleaner fuels--ultra low sulfur diesel as well as renewable diesels fuels. And lastly, there is the emissions control technology, the stuff that reduces emissions out of the tailpipe." Think of it as Biowillie's conventional cousin.
